We just released a free tool Tiny Domain Whois. It is a Freeware utility aimed to get all the info about domain names.
This version currently supports 120 domains extentions. It is a portable file -so no need to intsall anything- and works on all MS Windows.

How To Use Tiny Domain Whois...
Its really easy to use, All what you have to do is:
1-Type the domain name in the 'Domain' field.
2-Choose the appropiate whois server from the drop down list.
3- Click 'Domain Whois' and wait couple of seconds.
4- If you want, you can export the results into a text file by clicking 'Save'.
